HUMBLE BEGINNINGS.
Bengani Trust was established in 2010 by the Bengani Family. The idea was initiated by Rahul Bengani and supported by his father and brother, Bajarang Lal Bengani and Varun Bengani. Bengani Trust began by adopting a village, Uttarmerur, located 87 km from Chennai, India. By supporting their daily needs for food, health and hygiene, Bengani Trust made a strong presence in the hearts of the Uttarmerur villagers.
Today, the Bengani Trust Foundation has explored many avenues of helping the society be it for the environment, for education or for the well-being of the underprivileged. Having participated in various projects, the Bengani Trust has established itself as a strong support pillar for many people and continues to look on for more opportunities to make a sustainble difference.
The Bengani Trust places much emphasis on sustainability and empowerment of people rather than providing assistance, striving to make individuals independent and confident. These values resonate with the founders and their vision to place the needy in a better place.
